Year 1 Caribbean Day
In Year 1 we recently learnt about the Caribbean, we hosted a Caribbean Day!
The children looked very tropical in their various outfits and took part in a range of activities all linked to the Caribbean; a musical workshop with Jim from World Music Workshops in which the children were able to play a variety of Caribbean instruments to create some very authentic Caribbean music, we made carnival masks, discussed the different islands that make up the Caribbean and learnt how to hula-hoop and limbo!
