GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Lightwater Village School is Federated with Hammond Junior school who both serve the Lightwater area and so the majority of our pupils transition from the Infants to the Juniors when they reach Year 3 and we form a close knit community across the shared outside spaces.

We work closely together and collaborate on a number of projects and events throughout the academic year so that the younger children are familiar with the Juniors before they make their big move!
