Reception Trip to Lightwater Library
Reception had a wonderful trip to Lightwater library last week. In our RE lessons, we have been exploring the question ''What can we learn from stories,' so we were very excited to visit the library and find some new books.
We all walked beautifully up to the library and were greeted by the head librarian Holly. She talked to us about the purpose of the library and gave us our very own class library card.
We all chose some stories and enjoyed reading them with our friends, and we even had a go at scanning books in and out.
Finally we had story time-Holly is a great story teller and some of us joined in with the story!
Thank you to Lightwater Library for such a warm welcome, and we encourage allfamilies to visit and support the library.
