Reception Trip to Bocketts Farm
Reception had a fantastic trip to finish our living world topic this half term. We visited Bocketts farm where the farmers were busy beginning to welcome all sorts of baby animals.
We got to meet horses, sheep, goats, pigs, cows, donkeys, alpacas and more. In the animal handling we could hold bunnies, Guinee pigs and chickens.
We fed all the big animals in the barn and got to meet lots of expectant animal mummies. We had a lovely ride on the tractor and saw the fields where all the extra animals are kept. We watched the piglets take part in the pig race. The orange pig didn't want to run and was left behind.
In the afternoon we did the farm walk, went back to meet some more animals and finished our day off with a play in the park. Miss Smith and Miss MacGregor even had a jump on the bouncy pillow with us. We had so much fun!!!
