GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

We are delighted to share our recent Ofsted report with you.

We were inspected on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th September 2022 under the revised inspection framework, which is more rigorous and in-depth to the previous visit in 2008.

We are incredibly proud of how the report captures Lightwater as being a happy, nurturing and caring school where all relationships are warm, and kindness is valued. Our inspectors particularly enjoyed hearing all about our Lightwater Bear, Crumble and seeing the children demonstrate our school values throughout their learning, interaction with others and high expectations of behaviour.

The inspection team awarded Good to all five areas - quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development, leadership and management and early years provision.
