Reception Little Red Hen
Linking on from the Little Red Hen story, Reception have been learning all about the different types of bread and where in the world they come from! We have tasted pitta, brioche, chapatti, ciabatta, tortilla and bagels and decided on which ones our favourites were!
We have also been very lucky because we have had Angela from Bubble Bakery come in and teach us how to make our very own Brioche buns!
In phonics we have been learning the sounds ck,e,u, and r and have been revisiting the tricky word is as well as learning our new tricky word I. We hope you have enjoyed reading with your little ones at home just as much as we have here!
